Take care with audio volume

Browser or music-service audio may be quieter than your normal in-car source. If you turn the volume up, reduce it again before changing source or returning to other vehicle audio.

Do not let WTHAW distract you

Only interact when it is safe and legal to do so. A passenger should operate WTHAW while the vehicle is moving whenever possible.

Instructions, appearance and Local Music

How to use WTHAW

Open WTHAW, allow location access and go on a road trip. WTHAW follows your position, tells you where you are and keeps finding nearby things worth talking about as you travel. Tap NEXT FACT whenever you want another nearby story. If Local Music is enabled, WTHAW can also offer a location-related soundtrack alongside the trivia.

Appearance

Auto follows the browser's light/dark preference. Choose any other theme to override it manually.

Local Music

Show Local Music

Turn this off to hide the entire music bar and give trivia more room.

Maximum music distance

How far WTHAW may look for a location-backed music connection.

Track selection

Best Match favours the highest-scoring local result. Surprise Me rotates randomly through qualifying hits and avoids recent repeats where possible.

Choose one music service for recommendations. Selecting a service automatically turns the others off. Turn the selected service off as well if you only want the local music information with no button.

Spotify

Use Spotify as the single OPEN MUSIC destination.

Apple Music

Use Apple Music as the single OPEN MUSIC destination.

YouTube Music

Use YouTube Music as the single OPEN MUSIC destination.

Music buttons open the selected service as a normal full browser page. WTHAW briefly reminds you to use Back to return and shows a browser-audio volume warning before leaving. WTHAW does not embed, control or stream the music itself.
